Precision did a fantastic job for me. My old opener had unexplained issues (13 years or more of service?) and would not respond to the remote control. After calling Precision they responded quickly and set an appointment. Their knowledgeable technician arrived on time, diagnosed my situation and tried to find the most cost effective solution. A replacement motor was available on the service vehicle and I approved the price and installation. Problem solved! I would absolutely call this company with any garage door issue! Five star service and value.

Service estimate for my need was good however they advertise “free” estimates and I was charged $89 for the estimate. When I questioned that with the tech I was told it was a service charge and not for estimating. Seems like a bunch of double talk to me. What ever happened to being honest and upfront in all this. My advice is don’t advertise “free” on your website or vehicles!!! Therefore my service call was the estimated cost to do potential work. FREE???

The installation of the 8ft and 16ft doors appear to have been successful and are currently working fine. The objective of the Tune and Lube project to make the Barn door easier to open, was not achieved. The door is now much harder to open than before. The discussion in your Estimate Detail includes the following: "Existing Spring System- Recommend replacing springs over 5 years old or rusted springs." The door is well over 20 years old. Why did you not follow your own recommendation and replace the old springs? I wonder if that could improve the opening of that door, because as I indicated, the door is now much harder to open than it was before your Tune and Lube procedure.

I chose precision because of the TV commercial. The technician Jeff ordered all necessary parts and went right to work the next morning. However he explained that the springs he installed are only temporary until the correct ones on order come in. It has been over a week and I have not heard from Jeff or any representative of the company.
