Your service provider, Mike, tackled my unworkable garage door both systematically and professionally. However, after going through what I perceived to be his usual fix, and what I may have thought to have been a success, he didn't feel it was quite right. He did comment that the rollers were probably original with the home built in 2006, but he just offered the suggestion and did not try to sell me on the idea of replacing them at this time (not the usual with many service organizations with whom I have had recent experience). However, I agreed with his suggestion and he installed new rollers. While this was a good idea, it did not affect his feeling that there something was not quite right. He then proceeded to do a lot of tweaking to make the job perfect, and I admired his determination to satisfy me with a silky-smooth-operating garage door. Good job!

My home's original 2006 garage door opener just recently died, so I looked in a Best of Manatee County book for a garage door opener company and found Precision Overhead Garage Door Service of Sarasota. I called and got an appointment right away. On the day of the appointment, a nice, polite and professional young man named Luke came, arrived on-time, explained to me my options and took my order. I selected a unit called the PDS 801, a chain-drive unit. I got a new motor unit, chain rail and chain, floor sensors, wall switch, keypad for outside my garage and the remote devices for my cars. The installation took less than a couple of hours, and I'm very pleased with my choice of companies and the actual garage door opener. While belt-drive units are supposedly quieter, my new chain drive unit is as quiet as a mouse and it operates quite smoothly. I am very happy with everything about my purchase from Precision and would recommend this company and this unit to anyone.
