My garage door was stuck because I attempted to repair it myself and jammed it. The technician (Justin or Jason?) was great. Professional, courteous, and fixed the jammed door in about 30 minutes. He also provided some lubrication tips. I only gave a 4-star rating because I was a bit disappointed in the charges. The technician said at the outset that they charge a flat fee of $225 for a hung door. But I didn't realize that there would also be a $79.95 service call charge and an $80 labor charge on top of that. I had a coupon to remove the $79.95 service call charge but it seems like adding a $79.95 service call charge and $80 of labor on top of the hung door charge is "double dipping". There were no parts needed to un stick the door--only 30 minutes of labor.

I originally had you install my new door a few years ago. The bracket holding the bracket to the track rail broke and shredded apart and would not let door close. The tech said he had never seen anything like this happen. Since it was obviously a product defect, I feel that I should not have been charged a service call fee. There were no parts used, just broken part repositioned. On a positive note, Brian was a great tech and did work quickly.

Your guys that came out and installed a new trolley for my Genie opener did a quick and through job and were very courteous. I must admit that charging $150.00 for a part that sells for $25.00 on Amazon is a bit steep but at my age I can't do it myself anymore.

As prices for everything rise our other option was to raise our prices which we chose not to do since we can still offer that small percentage of savings to our customers if they use any of the forms of payment we accept in house. Called to get appointment to fix garage door. The tech showed up yesterday and installed an orb. While the tech was here I opened and shut the door several times. When I got home about 3:00pm today, my wife was gone (she uses the garage that had the door repaired). When I tried to open the door, it would go up about 6” and then stop. I checked for obstructions and there were none. However, when the garage door opener was not working, I noticed that it took considerable force to open the door manually. So, when looking at the manual for this problem, there is a section on opening force. My guess is that the opening force exceeds the limit at what the opening force adjustment is set at. So, tomorrow I will see if my wife has the same problem. If so, I will call you back. Bill

I had used Precision in the past to repair the door. Did a good job. Only complaint I have is the your technician did not clean up after the install, left wire clippings and wire insulation on garage floor. He did overturn box holding the motor unit and let the unit drop to the floor, but perhaps that is OK?

I HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD IN SAYING YOUR SERVICE HAS BEEN GREAT. YOUR SERVICE TECHS.HAVE BEEN SPOT ON WITH PERFORMANCE. I WILL SAY THOUGH THAT WHEN WE HAD THE DOOR INSTALLED TO MY KNOWLEDGE I WAS NOT TOLD OF THE UPGRADE TO THE SPRINGS FOR HIGH USAGE. I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THE REGULAR SPRING LASTED ONLY 3 YEARS. Like most things what I thought would just be a small expense of replacing a remote key pad ended up as a new garage door opener for $575. Despite this it was my decision. The technician did tell me that he could install just a new key pad but in all probability this would not solve the problem since the opener I had was under rated for my type of garage door. Service was same day and the technician was knowledgeable. I appreciated the options he gave me and I did not feel pressured. I would use Precision again.

Never had a garage door open on the garage door. After living in the home for 28 years we decided to ask for a cost to purchase and have one installed. Mark did a good job installing the opener. The only question I have is WHY was I charged a "Service Call" of $49.95? There was no replacement or repair with this service. Disappointed on that hidden cost. Thank you.

We had one broken spring on our 2 car garage door. Was quoted around $250 for spring replacement, tech said he would have to change both springs, new price: $545, your tech Brett, was very courteous and professional. Would have liked to know about having to replace both springs before I agreed for you to come out. Otherwise, everything else was excellent.
