My garage door has infrequently & intermittently opened on its own for the last few months. I expected that someone had moved into the sub that had the same frequency and it would be a simple reset. When Justin came to the house, I was told that did not happen with new doors. Later I was told that my door was old & the springs needed to be replaced along with the motherboard. My garage door is about 10 years old. My bill for these was $907.95 for which I paid by check as there was a large fee to use a credit card. I so wish I had charged this as I would be making a Visa dispute. Perhaps that’s why they are discouraging credit cards. The repairs were done on a Thursday, the following Tuesday I got home about 6 PM, went to the garage twice more and the garage door was closed. Around 10PM, I walked out to throw something in recycle to find the door wide open. Second service call where I would now spend more money, possibly without a proper working door. I wrote Andrew Sell 2 weeks ago & have not had a response. Meanwhile, I am out $907.95 and have the same problem.

It was very easy to schedule a repair with the office. Mark Basilotto, the technician, called and gave me the expected arrival time and he was right on time. After introducing himself, he immediately got to work diagnosing my issues. He explained what the problems were and gave me estimates of the cost to repair the issues from good to best in terms of what I wanted to have repaired. He was very professional, friendly and clean.

Unfortunately for me, the first company I called was the company that had installed my original garage door. I called, gave all my information to them, and was told someone would call me back to schedule the appointment. I waited from 9 AM till 7:30 PM but did not get a call back. I then remembered Precision. They are a top Vendor where I work and many homeowners had given me rave reviews, so I called Precision at 7:30 PM. The phone was answered, my concerns and information obtained and an appointment for early afternoon, the following day, was set on the spot! The tech arrived on time; the repairs completed; the door mechanisms fined tuned and lubricated, all in one service visit. We could not have been more please. I have removed the previous company's sticker from my garage door and replaced it with Precision! Thank you all very much, John L.

J arm pulled away from the door. Tech installed new bracket to door to reconnect J arm. Way more sturdy than the original attachment. Tech also reset spring so load on opening is much lighter. Lubed the rollers and reset open/close settings. Super service and friendly tech. Very fair price too.

Our door opener did not open the door. Contacted Precision on Wednesday afternoon and you had an open slot on Thursday afternoon. Service Rep (Nick) contacted me on Thursday morning stating he was ahead of schedule and I replied great and he was at my home 15 minutes later. He diagnosed the issue and had the part on his truck and 20 minutes later the work was done and the opener works great.

I give you 1 star due to pricing. Matt was early. called and said he had a cancellation. No problem. With scope of work (no parts that I saw), and amount of time here (maybe 15 minutes), I feel what I was charged was "Excessive". I feel like I was robbed. Wish you and yours the best in the future. Your technician named Doug arrived on time and even called me ahead of time. He was honest, courteous, professional, efficient, and friendly. My cable broke/tore away after a new unit that was inistalled about 2-3 yrs ago. We had to replace the chain and cable assembly. He also made a few adjustments to the J bar to help it door close more effectively and safely. I was offered a fair and reasonable price for this repair and will highly recommend your company to my friends and family. Thank you again.
