Having just moved her from Northern VA, we only had one garage remote and our garage door was sounding very rough. We thought we might need to replace our door. We called Precision because there was a sticker on the door from the former owners. We set up an appointment for the next day. Although I was not pleased with the "four-hour window" for the service call, Josh, our service man called within the earlier part of the window and told us exactly when he would be at our home. He got here right when he said he would and couldn't have been more professional. Josh heard our concerns and immediately programmed a new remote. He also listened to the door, noticed Precision had serviced the door in 2012, and said we did NOT need a new door but just servicing. Within a half-hour he had serviced the door, which sounded so much better, and made sure it was working well before the job was finished. We are very pleased with Precision and would recommend them for any garage door needs.

Repairman came as scheduled and called before arrival. Quickly diagnosed problem and gave me three options for repair. Repaired the door and then took extra time to tweak the system before leaving. It turned out a second part was needed to complete the job correctly and he spent the extra time to install new part. ( he could have left early after initial repair as he had completed the agreed upon repair, but realized a secondary repair was required to ensure proper operation long term.) I am very impressed by Precision start to finish!

I called because the main track where the chain runs bent from apparently the weight of the garage door. I have never been happy with the opener since we purchased this house and now I know why it always appeared to struggle to open the door. Justin's evaluation was since the door could not be manually opened by either of us the spring balance was off. He said when installed correctly an elderly person should still easily be able to manually open the door. The opener of course broke on Sunday afternoon. After calling a couple of different companies and getting a recording "leave a message and we will get back to you", a person answered at Precision. After explaining the situation they said we can have someone out there on Monday. Perfect... I received a call from Justin saying he would be at my place in about 20 min before arriving. On this particular day we were having heavy downpour of rain but Justing was there just as he said he would. Once he evaluated the issue he gave me multiple options to choose. No high pressure sales job only suggestions. Once agreed upon he went right to work and said it would take about an hour to hour and half and he was once again correct. He replaced the: Garage Door Opener Springs Safety lights Inside and Outside Key Pads He cleaned up the garage after the work and it looked better than when he came. And by the way now I can easily manually open the garage door with one hand if anything should happen again. Very satisfied and will highly recommend Precision Door Service and Justin to neighbors and friends.
