My husband and I have used Precision for our Long Island, NY residence. When we purchased our home in Naples, we had Precision come to service the garage in our home. Since that time, I've contacted Precision for any maintenance required. I have been extremely satisfied with the response time and the technician, Josh Snelson, has been awesome. Respectful, courteous and explained the adjustments that needed to be done.

This is our third for different parts on two separate garage doors. Although the most recent repair was just completed this afternoon, I am confident that the repair will last as did the two prior repairs. Precision technicians are punctual, workmanship is admirable, and charges for repairs are very reasonable.

Overpriced significantly for service needed and onsite price was $500 higher than quote before agreeing to service call. I still had to pay a service despite the bait and switch tactics. I was disappointed I called Precision.

The technician was very nice and knowledgeable; HOWEVER, it was literally a 2 minute job - he had to adjust the opener as it was bouncing back up instead of staying closed) When I called and asked they stated it would be about $90. I assumed this would be the total. It was NOT. They charged that PLUS an additional $90+ to turn a few screws. Very disappointed as I have used these folks in the past and was happy with them. This was highway robbery. I could have YouTubed it myself but I am unsteady on a ladder and thought it would be better to have someone else do it. I thought $90 was reasonable. I am on a fixed income and while $200 isn't a lot to some people it is to me. They should have stated that it was $90 to walk in the garage and then $45 dollars every MINUTE afterwards. And he kept calling me by the wrong name even after being corrected several times. No big deal - just annoying.

We had a service person arrive to fix a broken garage door. He was polite, offered 3 bids, repair options - explaining each carefully. No pressure to buy the most expensive option. We made the right decision, and he completed some complicated work within a two hour time period. I believe we were only charged the initial service call rate for labor, plus the materials. Great work. Oh, there were several things repaired related to the door, new spring, cable drum, new reinforcement brackets, nylon rollers, etc. Thank you.

I have used your company for over 10 years..people are professional and always take care of me timely I have many clients for my homewatch so I’m very frequent user and almost always satisfied ..I think $200 charge for Powdercoat of springs is unreasonable my client can see online price Home Depot for springs you’re asking too much My opinion

Precision Garage Door Service again gave me wonderful service. My garage door spring broke late afternoon yesterday, trapping both my cars inside. Luke from Precision was at my house for the repair before noon today. He was courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant. He gave me the price beforehand and completed the job promptly. I was delighted! We've had Precision work on other jobs for us and have always been very pleased. Highly recommend!

I regret selecting Precision Door to perform a service on my garage door. I informed the Company that I had a handyman perform a service the day before and he indicated that the problem was in the spring assembly. I notified Precision of his findings. The service man from Percision came the next day and said he could not service my garage door since the problem was with my springs….Same information as the day before only yesterday I paid $80 and Precision charged $89.90. Called management and they said they would have someone contact me… this was the third day in a row that I called and no return calls. Sorry I ever called them!

I had previously used Precision Door 5 years ago and the label was conveniently on the garage door. The technician arrived within the appointment time frame, determined the problem, and had it repaired in about a half hour or so. In reviewing my old file, I was surprised the trip charge was double, from $49.95 to $89.95, a100% increase and a $90 labor charge for the time spent seemed a bit much. I realize everything costs more and must pay the going rate, and I’m just venting . I have no complaints with the tech or service, hence the 5 star review. I should have asked if there was a senior discount, since I’m 82. It was an unexpected expense which fortunately I was able to cover. Hope it’ll be at least another five years or more before I need Precision again. Thank you, and keep up the good work.

Your service is impeccable. You show up on time, fix the problem, and your technicians are great. I would recommend you revisit your pricing structure. I felt a little “taken advantage of” having to pay the visit charge plus the charge for resetting of the “remote” keys (all two of them) which took all of five minutes. As a repeating customer - would have thought the initial service charge would have covered your costs.

We chose Precision Overhead Garage Door Service of Sarasota because we are a repeat customer. We were very satisfied with the work previously. This time an issue happened on a Saturday with a lift cable. The technician (John Roetzer) was on site Sunday, before the promised time window, surveyed the problem and had us up and running within an hour. I bought a new car and could not get the garage door to operate off one of our two garages. No matter what I did, I could not get the one opener to teach either of the remotes I had or the car. The tech was excellent and noted that I needed service of my springs which were making the motor work too hard and the door molding was shot which I never noticed. He tuned up and lubed the door and got a newer model remote which learned and then taught the car. Everything great now and not overly expensive. Professional, thorough, not pushy on suggested work but I agreed with suggestions. He takes pride in his work. I highly recommend.
