I am a native of Southwest Florida, I grew up and attended college in Port Charlotte. My interests & hobbies are also native to Southwest Florida, I love fishing, spearfishing and the beach. Spending time with friends and family. I joined Precision Overhead Garage Door 9 years ago and am happy to have the opportunity to assist you with your garage door issues.

Chose Precision because their toll-free number was on my garage door. Got an appointment for about 3-4 days out on a Saturday. So same day service was out of the question. Service person showed up as scheduled and offered 3 options. He did not have any parts to resolve the issue, so I chose the one that required repairing the circuitry and was supposed to be contacted on Monday to pursue. No contact on Monday. I texted service person and he had talked with his manager who said they could not get the part and to call back when we got back from a trip up north. Do not recommend this company since they don't have much concern for the customer. Not a very good experience overall.

Alex was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and very patient answering the questions we had. He had the job done quickly and efficiently. Precision was quick to schedule me when my garage door didn’t work. The Tecnician,Alex, did a great job communicating when he was arriving and throughout the visit. He went over and above to attempt to get in my gated community, and rescheduled when needed. He juggled another appointment to ensure I could be here when he was.

Precision was doing a job Next door to me, I went over and asked the guy if he could program my opener. He politely said he would be over as soon as he was done with the other customer.. Well bottom line I needed a new opener.. He had one on the truck. and presto!! One happy customer,(me). Ive used your company before and you have 1st class employes. All was as promised by your office. Alex and Mike called ahead; were prompt arriving and proceeded to examine my garage door and system. I chose the items I felt I could afford at this time and they delivered. I was particularly interested in the replacement of an aging seal on the bottom of the door. Your company was recommended by a neighbor. Your techs were cheerful, efficient, informative and pleasant. It was a pleasure to work with them.

The garage door motor failed - would not open the door.So I called the number on the box and was abruptly told to call "back late next week" So I called Precision on a Friday and was told someone would be out the following Friday Afternoon. And I was given a specific tech's name - Alex Reich. He called Monday prior to the time and said he was enroute. His professionalism not only ranks 5 stars it should make him "Tech of the Month"! I just say on this site "Military Discounts". Im a Vet whatz the discount - another benefit from an excellent company !!

I set the appointment up when my father stated that he was having problems with the garage door. Precision came out when they said they would. They sent a confirmed appointment via email. They gave us a 2 hour window instead of the anytime that day wait. The technician called just before coming out, was courteous and informed. Fortunately for us no repair work was needed at this time and we were not charged. We thought we would be charged something for the technician’s time coming out. Because of the age of the garage door system, the technician wrote up two estimates to look at as the system can go at anytime but no hard sales. We do plan to have the system replaced at some point and would definitely use Precision to do that work as well as if we needed that type of service at our residence which is separate from my father.

I called for door repairs needed. Needed new springs, remounting bracket, all new rollers snd new bottom of door seal. Also installed a new key pad. Amanda was able to accommodate my schedule for the service call. Alex explained everything quite quickly and precisely. The work was done right then and very quickly in my opinion. Both techs were knowledgeable and extremely friendly and courteous. I recommend this company and these two techs to anyone needing garage door repairs. I was thoroughly satisfied.

Alex called before he arrived to give us a heads up that he was coming. He inspected our system and provided items that may potentially be a problem in the future. He was very thorough, but not high pressure - which we really appreciated. He replaced our keypad and made sure the system was fully operational. They lubricated the moving parts. Alex had a young trainee with him and was very good explaining things to him. Both men were very professional and extremely polite. We will definitely call Precision Door with any future garage door repairs we need.

Called Monday and spoke to a a very courteous female. She took all needed information and made my appt. for Thurs. Thursday Alex Reich called to advise he was on his way and would be arriving in about a half hour. He arrived, assessed the problem.
