I chose Precision because of the high rating and positive comments that were left. The technician came here within one business day after I called. He arrived at the scheduled time. He did a thorough investigation of my garage door's needed repairs and explained what needed to be done. He provided me with two options and the benefits of each. There was no pressure. He advised me of work that would need to be done in the future, but left it to me to decide when to get it done. The parts needed to complete the job were in his van so it was fixed on the day he came out. The door works well and I am pleased with the repair. When the time comes for further work on the door, you can be sure I will hire Precision again.

Called to get appointment to fix garage door. The tech showed up yesterday and installed an orb. While the tech was here I opened and shut the door several times. When I got home about 3:00pm today, my wife was gone (she uses the garage that had the door repaired). When I tried to open the door, it would go up about 6” and then stop. I checked for obstructions and there were none. However, when the garage door opener was not working, I noticed that it took considerable force to open the door manually. So, when looking at the manual for this problem, there is a section on opening force. My guess is that the opening force exceeds the limit at what the opening force adjustment is set at. So, tomorrow I will see if my wife has the same problem. If so, I will call you back. Bill

The garage door opener in our home had a sticker on it as installed by one of your competitors. Since they were a sub contractor for the builder I checked them out online, and they did not come out too well in satisfactory ratings. I then checked out with my neighbors as to recommendations through NextDoor. Well, you were highly recommended. Well, up north we had a Chamberlain Garage Door Opener, and here in Florida we have a Liftmaster. Both are made by the same people, and when we were hearing a beeping it sounded like it needed a new back up battery. The manual with the opener showed a backup battery, but there was no door to open and slip it in. (Yes, I bought the replacement Battery) In any event we called Precision Garage Door and made an appointment for the next day. Your Technician Chris Stephens arrived right on time and we talked about the opener. Well, this particular model does not have a back up battery. (silly me) In any event the garage door had not been inspected in about six years so we had Chris do an inspection and maintenance on our door. It is now quieter and working well. We did find out the source of the beeping which was coming from our cable providers box. Not sure why because if the power goes out none of that stuff is going to work anyway. Spring broke.We were able to make an appointment on line through Holly for the next day. Chris was our tech. He did a thorough job finding also that our pulley cables were performing poorly and showed us the cables were fraying. He was able to replace them as well during the same repair appointment. Door failed to come down after he had left but, after we called him he returned immediately to realign the safety beams. 7 year warranty parts and labor included. We recommend Precision for their knowledgeable techs. And quality service.

It's been 3 years and two months since Precision installed our new Impact Garage Door and Garage Door Opener. Overall we've been very pleased with its quiet and smooth functionality. This recent service call gets a 5 Star Rating because of your same day service to replace a broken spring and mostly because of your team member Chris S. We went into sticker shock when he quoted the cost of replacing a broken spring that just missed being under your warranty by 2 months. He kept his cool, professionally explained our options and we overcame our shock and upgraded to a spring with a 7 year warranty. Chris S. did what he could within his authority to ease the blow and for that we're very appreciative.
