Could not repair my garage door. They do not carry Wayne Dalton torque tube springs. I was still charged for the $80 service call to have a technician take one look inside my garage and say we can’t repair your springs. When I asked for an estimate on the phone, I was told most springs cost $150-300, it would depend if I have one or two springs. I said I couldn’t see the springs because they were in a tube. But, I guess I didn’t say the buzz word Wayne Dalton torque tube for them to know they couldn’t repair. I never thought to ask any more than that, because your website says you carry “nearly all spring sizes on the truck, so 99% of the time your door will be fixed on the first visit.” I was quoted $1800 to convert the tube to a traditional spring system. Overhead Door of Naples does the same work for $650.

Have used Precision for years and always happy with service. Techs are always professional, personable and respectful. Jason just finished up our service and we were grateful for him reviewing everything he did to service the doors/motor/hinges/rollers. Also helpful was that he left a can of the spray to use on the hinges once I start hearing the telltale squeaky sound that indicates it needs some help. Lastly, he showed me how to raise and lower the door myself should the need ever arise and I greatly appreciated that! Exit plans are a MUST! We chose Precision Overhead Garage Door Service as they have a Great National Reputation and Presence. From the time we booked appointment by phone (yes, we actually got to speak to someone - how refreshing and novel is that in this day & age of electronics) to reminders to our technician telephoning to say he had a cancellation & could move us up in his stops for the day if we had the availability. We are SUPER PLEASED with the "GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE" Received by Service Technician, Jason Hennagir. He was here when promised and took the time to walk us thru every step & even offered up safety tips that when along with services provided. We called Precision to repair our garage doors from hurricane Ian flood damage. The technician - Ben - was fantastic! He provided a common sense assessment of what we needed for repairs. We thought it would be a good time to also replace our old motors and Ben provided a perfect solution. Couldn't be happier with the quiet openers that now work perfectly. I bought my door opner from you & am very satisfied with the product. I was not happy at the cost of the recent repair caused by a power failure due to IAN. It took a 5 min adjustment by the tech. It appears as if you are taking advantage of IAN recipients.

Unfortunately we do not offer free service or free repairs as we would not be in business if we did not charge our customers for the service we provide. We charged you the absolute minimum we charge which was just our service call of $79.95 which is just the cost to cover the certified technician driving out to your house, using gas, spending valuable work time and quickly diagnosing your problem. In your case he was able to offer you an immediate repair and did not charge you anything additional. You were also quoted the standard service call of $79.95 on the phone call while booking. I am happy to hear the job was done quickly as our techs can complete most programming issues in a few minutes due to extensive training and years of working to fine tune their trade. We are in no way taking advantage of any storm related issues and could not disagree with your statement more. We always off upfront pricing and we kept our service call the exact same as it was before the storm as it will remain after the storm at $79.95. Our garage door no longer opened with a remote including through our car. We thought we would need a new garage door opener, but Jason Hennagir from Precision had a motherboard that replaced the one not working and now our garage door opens with all of our remotes!
