We chose Precision Overhead Garage Door Service as they have a Great National Reputation and Presence. From the time we booked appointment by phone (yes, we actually got to speak to someone - how refreshing and novel is that in this day & age of electronics) to reminders to our technician telephoning to say he had a cancellation & could move us up in his stops for the day if we had the availability. We are SUPER PLEASED with the "GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE" Received by Service Technician, Jason Hennagir. He was here when promised and took the time to walk us thru every step & even offered up safety tips that when along with services provided. While extremely professional, he was also friendly, respectful and informative. We will have no issue recommending Precision Overhead Garage Door Service to our friends, family and neighbors. We called Precision to repair our garage doors from hurricane Ian flood damage. The technician - Ben - was fantastic! He provided a common sense assessment of what we needed for repairs. We thought it would be a good time to also replace our old motors and Ben provided a perfect solution. Couldn't be happier with the quiet openers that now work perfectly. When the garage door stopped working, I called five companies and only two bothered to return my call. Precision was the first and they were very professional and pleasant on the phone. They scheduled the visit right away. Jason was our tech and he was pleasant and professional as well. Highly recommend them.

repair person tried to charge me $200 for a part that the company that manufacturers the part charges $25.42 for. Amazon also charges the lower amount. He also wanted to charge $200-$300 to replace it. Youtube shows the exact replacement for my door and it took 5 minutes. Very dissatisfied with what took place.

Good afternoon and thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I show that our technician was out there today and did not charge you anything. We have a $79.95 service charge to go out to any property and that front pulley you are referring to we charge $125 to swap out and replace, including the labor, unless the door was hung or the rail was off the wall. You can always buy things for yourself and install them cheaper. We have certified trained technicians that can quickly identify and repair most all issues and can successfully break down rails and properly install them back together while properly adjusting the limits after the install to ensure the garage door works like new. Unfortunately it looks like we are currently our of stock with that item on the south trucks so he provided you with the estimate and then, as previously stated, did not charge you anything. If you have any further issues please do not hesitate to contact our main office and speak with our General Manager at 941-351-2408.

I bought my door opner from you & am very satisfied with the product. I was not happy at the cost of the recent repair caused by a power failure due to IAN. It took a 5 min adjustment by the tech. It appears as if you are taking advantage of IAN recipients.

Unfortunately we do not offer free service or free repairs as we would not be in business if we did not charge our customers for the service we provide. We charged you the absolute minimum we charge which was just our service call of $79.95 which is just the cost to cover the certified technician driving out to your house, using gas, spending valuable work time and quickly diagnosing your problem. In your case he was able to offer you an immediate repair and did not charge you anything additional. You were also quoted the standard service call of $79.95 on the phone call while booking. I am happy to hear the job was done quickly as our techs can complete most programming issues in a few minutes due to extensive training and years of working to fine tune their trade. We are in no way taking advantage of any storm related issues and could not disagree with your statement more. We always off upfront pricing and we kept our service call the exact same as it was before the storm as it will remain after the storm at $79.95.
