I live in Missouri and have a vacation home in Venice and recently had guests staying there for their honeymoon. They mentioned to me on a Saturday that the garage door wasn’t functioning properly. I called Precision’s number late that evening just to leave a message and to my surprise a very kind lady answered the phone and within a few minutes told me she would have a technician there by 10 am Monday! When the tech called me Monday morning from the house he diagnosed the issue and explained to me what parts needed immediate replacing to fix the problem and also told me there was considerable wear on the motor and eventually would have to be replaced. He did not try to “sell” me a new unit but rather left that decision up to my judgement. I elected to go ahead and replace the whole motor. Over and over and over and over and over. That's all I got.

Our garage door would not open, and since our car was inside the garage, we were literally stuck in our house. I called another company and was told that they could not guarantee that a technician would come to our house that day. At 6:20 AM the next morning I called Precision garage door service, and the call was immediately answered by someone who listened to my problem. She then told me that a technician would come to our house between 8 AM and noon that same day to fix the problem. Within two hours, I received a call from the technician, Mark, and he told me that he was on his way. Not long thereafter Mark was at our house and assessed the problem, which was a broken main spring and also deteriorating rollers. Mark gave me alternatives and completely spelled out the cost for repairs, which I thought were reasonable. Before starting the work, he was able to get my garage door open so that I could remove my car. This was not an easy task, but he did it with grace and humor. Within approximately an hour or so, the job was complete, and our garage door is now working perfectly. Mark was extremely competent, personable, and just plain nice. I would strongly recommend Precision garage door service to anyone in the future.

I had previous experience with Precision at another home and decided I would use them again at my current residence. I wanted to install the battery model as with hurricanes and no electricity I am not able to pull open door. I had this installed at previous location and it’s a life savor for me. John was my technician and was prompt, professional and did an excellent job of installing a new motor as the one here was the original. It is super quiet compared to the original door opener, he explained everything to me after the install, programmed my openers and car opener. I would highly recommend Precision and John.

I was having trouble with my garage door opener that was installed with Precision. Mark came out this morning and replaced the pad outside the garage as well as oiling the wheels on the garage door and showed me how to properly use the remote in the car.

Spring broke on garage door I called and they came that afternoon. Alex was very professional and I could tell he knew what he was doing. He fixed the spring and also noticed cable was splintering and replaced them also. Explained what he was doing the whole time he was fixing door. I highly recommend if you need garage door service. Discovered the spring to my garage door was broken on trying to leave the house at 1 o’clock. Called Precision and got an appointment for the next morning. Received my notification call as promised 30 minutes before the arrival of Alex, a very friendly, helpful and professional technician. Besides the broken spring, he thoroughly assessed all components, clearly explained options and costs and did not try to hard sell anything extra. Once the necessary repairs were complete he checked the operation of the system and made time for any questions. Surprise repairs are never fun but a good job was done in a timely and positive way…and I now have a better idea what may go next and why. More importantly I know that I can call Precision with confidence.
